【摘要】:Thisisnotaroutinetest.Thevaluesrecordedareapplicableonlytothesewerbeingtestedandatthetimeoftesting.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresfortestingthejointsofinstalledprecastconcretepipesewerlines,whenusingeitherairorwaterunderlowpressuretodemonstratetheintegrityofthejointandtheconstructionprocedures.Thispracticeisusedfortesting675-mmandlargerdiameterprecastconcretesewerlinesutilizingrubbergasketsealedjoints.Note18212;Theuserofthistestmethodisadvisedthatmethodsdescribedhereinmayalsobeusedasapreliminarytesttoenablethemanufacturerorinstallertodemonstratetheconditionofsewerpipepriortodelivery.1.2ThispracticeistheSIcompanionofPracticeC1103.Note28212;Theownershallspecifythefollowing:whowillconduct,observe,andfurnishlabor,material,andmeasuringdevicesandpayforthetests;whoisresponsiblefordetermininglocalgroundconditions;andwhetheranairorwatertestistobeused.Note38212;Theuserofthispracticeisadvisedthattestcriteriapresentedinthispracticearesimilartothoseingeneraluse.Pipe600-mmdiameterandsmallershallbeacceptedbyinfiltrationorexfiltrationtestingutilizingPracticeC969MorbylowpressureairtestingutilizingPracticeC924M.Pipegreaterthan600-mmdiametershallbeacceptedbyinfiltrationorexfiltrationtestingutilizingC969M.Note48212;Theuserisadvisedthatnocorrelationhasbeenfoundbetweenairlossandwaterleakage.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificsafetyprecautionsaregiveninSection6.
