【摘要】:Thebispectralortwo-monochromatormethodisthedefinitivemethodforthedeterminationofthegeneral(illuminant-independent)radiation-transferpropertiesoffluorescentspecimens(2).TheDonaldsonradiancefactorisaninstrument-andilluminant-independentphotometricpropertyofthespecimen,andcanbeusedtocalculateitscolorforanydesiredilluminantandobserver.Theadvantageofthismethodisthatitprovidesacomprehensivecharacterizationofthespecimenrsquo;radiation-transferproperties,withouttheinaccuraciesassociatedwithsourcesimulationandvariousmethodsofapproximation.Thispracticeprovidesaprocedureforselectingtheoperatingparametersofbispectrometersusedforprovidingdataofthedesiredprecision.Italsoprovidesforinstrumentcalibrationbymeansofmaterialstandards,andforselectionofsuitablespecimensforobtainingprecisioninthemeasurements.1.1Thispracticeaddressestheinstrumentalmeasurementrequirements,calibrationprocedures,andmaterialstandardsneededforobtainingprecisebispectralphotometricdataforcomputingthecolorsoffluorescentspecimens.1.2Thispracticeliststheparametersthatmustbespecifiedwhenbispectralphotometricmeasurementsarerequiredinspecificmethods,practices,orspecifications.1.3Thispracticeappliesspecificallytobispectrometers,whichproducephotometricallyquantitativebispectraldataasoutput,usefulforthecharacterizationofappearance,asopposedtospectrofluorimeters,whichproduceinstrument-dependentbispectralphotometricdataasoutput,usefulforthepurposeofchemicalanalysis.1.4Thescopeofthispracticeislimitedtothediscussionofobject-colormeasurementunderreflectiongeometries;itdoesnotincludeprovisionsfortheanalogouscharacterizationofspecimensundertransmissiongeometries.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
