【摘要】:1.1Thispracticedescribestheprocedureforevaluatingtheabilityofanink,overprintvarnishorcoatingtowithstandchemicalexposure.Typicalchemicals,whichmaycomeincontactwiththepackage,includewater,alcohol,acid,etc.Thespecificchemicalandmethodofchoiceaswellasdeterminationofmeasurementoutcomearelefttouserstoagreeuponinjointdiscussion.Suggestionsforwaystomeasureandcollectinformationareofferedinthevariousmethodslistedinthispractice.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
