适用范围
本标准规定了粉尘防爆电气设备的通用要求、专用规定、试验方法、检验程序和标志。本标准适用于工厂爆炸性粉尘（包括纤维）环境用粉尘防爆电气设备的制造和检验。本标准不适用于无需空气中的氧即可燃烧的物质（如火药、炸药）或引火物质所形成的粉尘爆炸危险场所，也不适用于同时存在可燃性粉尘和可燃性气体的爆炸危险常本标准是根据限制粉尘进入电气设备外壳之内，并限制外壳表面温度的原理制订的。本标准仅适用于外壳防护型式的电气设备。本标准未涉及的内容，还应符合其它有关标准的规定。
