【摘要】:Thistechnicalreportisprimarilyintendedforusers,specifiersandotherswithresponsibilityfortheprocurementandprovisionofchemicalprotectiveclothing.ItisalsointendedtobeusedbymanufacturersintheirdialoguewiththeusersofPPE.Thistechnicalreportisintendedtoclarifytheinter-relationshipofthesetofstandards,developedbyCEN/TC162WG3,andtoexplainthemainideasbehindthesestandards.ThissetofstandardshasbeendevelopedinsupportoftheEuropeanlegislationonPPEandiscurrentlyusedasamajortechnicaltoolfortheassessmentandcertificationofCPCbeforeitisputontheEuropeanmarket.TheseguidelinesareintendedtoassistusersandspecifiersinselectingthecorrecttypeofCPCforthetasktobeperformed,andtohelpthemensureitisusedaccordingtothemanufacturer'sinstructionstoprovideadequateprotectionduringitsentirelifetime.Lifetimeandeffectivenessofprotectiveclothingdependlargelyoncareandmaintenance.Whencleaning,disinfectionandend-of-lifedisposalareconsideredtheenvironmentalimpactshouldalsobetakenintoaccount.Thistechnicalreportdoesnotaddresschemicalnuisancefactorswithoutpotentialimpactonaperson'shealthandsafety,e.g.smell.
